Wellness Center & Pool

 

While the Foundation's Board of Directors has plans for additional aspects of the Foundation's Medical Campus - campus housing, an auditorium, a wellness center - it is yet to be seen how they will manifest. Even with these long-term goals under consideration (along with those already completed - a new hospital, a medical office building, the Commonwealth Garden), a Foundation wellness program, "Avenues to Wellness" (please visit www.avenuestowellness.org), has been operating since August, 2014, in order to provide the community with additional programs that will focus on preventative medicine.

 

While in the midst of change and uncertainty, one thing the community can count on is the commitment the Foundation and Adventist Health/Howard Memorial Hospital have maintained for many years, “to establish, promote and support programs that maintain, as well as improve, health care for the community of Willits, and the entire Northern Mendocino County area.”
